Pilz PILZ-400449 is an emergency stop push-button designed for wall mounting with a surface mount housing that includes a symbol and logo inscription, as well as a protective collar. It features a round red button with a diameter of 55mm for the head and 22.3mm for installation. The device operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C for operation and -50 to +85°C for storage. It has a net height of 103mm, with both net width and depth at 72mm. This model is equipped with screw-type terminal connections and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The push-button operates on a rotational release type mechanism, allowing for turn left or right actions. It has a rated current of 2A at 24Vdc (DC-13), 3A at 250Vac (AC-15), a minimum contact current of 1mA, and a rated thermal current (Ith) of 16A. The contact material is AgNi, and it includes 2NC contacts with self-monitoring, with no Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts. The response time is noted at 10ms or 0.01 seconds, with a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 250V. The mechanical durability of the device is rated for 20,000 operations at no load.
