Pilz PILZ-328421 is an I/O unit designed as an analog input electronic module featuring deviations from the measuring range limit value with a linearity error of 0.05%, output variable error at 25°C of 0.3%, and a temperature coefficient of 0.003%/K. It offers repetition accuracy at 25°C of 0.05% and supports voltage measurement with values of least significant bit (LSB) at 195.3125μV, 390.625μV, and 97.65625μV across different voltage ranges. The input resistance is 1MΩ, and it can handle a maximum continuous voltage of 30V. This module utilizes a successive approximation conversion method and ensures potential isolation between analog input and module supply, analog input and periphery supply, as well as periphery supply and module supply, all with functional insulation rated at 2500V surge voltage. It is designed for backplane or rackmount installation, operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C, and has a net height of 110.8 mm. The device code is 0021h, featuring 64 ST output bits and 56 ST status bits, and it uses plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. Classified under the Standard I/O module sub-range, it has an IP20 degree of protection, requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal), and operates at a maximum cutoff frequency of 700Hz. The housing is made of PPE material, with a net width of 12.5 mm, and it consumes 0.21 W (module supply) and 0.2 W (periphery supply module power consumption with no load).
