Pilz PILZ-328401 is an I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation, featuring a digital input electronic module with potential isolation between input and module supply, offering reinforced insulation with a rated surge voltage of 4000V. It also provides potential isolation between periphery supply and module supply with functional insulation rated at 2500V, and between input and periphery supply with reinforced insulation rated at 4000V. This standard I/O module operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm, a width of 12.5 mm, and a depth of 72.5 mm. It supports plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections and is housed in PPE material, ensuring a degree of protection of IP20. The supply voltage requirement is 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) with a module supply power consumption of 0.16 W and a maximum power dissipation/loss of 0.86 W. It features 6 x digital inputs (120Vac; 5-10mA; type 1/3 to IEC61131-2; 0-20Vac at "0"; 74-120Vac at "1") and has a processing time (software filter time) of 5-25.5 ms. The ambient air temperature for storage is rated at -40 to +70°C.
