Pilz PILZ-328300 is an I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation, featuring digital input electronic modules with potential isolation between input and module supply, and functional insulation rated at a surge voltage of 2500V. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm, a width of 12.5 mm, and a depth of 72.5 mm. This standard I/O module, with a device code of 0009h and 8 ST input bits, offers plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. It is protected by an IP20-rated PPE housing and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The module's power consumption is 0.11 W at input and 0.15 W for module supply, with a maximum power dissipation/loss of 1.1 W. It supports 8 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 3-3.5mA; type 3 to IEC61131-2; -3...+5Vdc at "0"; +11...+30Vdc at "1") and has an input processing time of 0.005-0.3 ms, with a software filter time of 0-25.5 ms. The unit is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C.
