Pilz PILZ-328092 is a Safety I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation. It features a digital output electronic safety module with permitted load types including inductive, capacitive, and resistive. The unit provides potential isolation between the semiconductor output and module supply, as well as between the periphery supply and module supply, both with functional insulation and a rated surge voltage of 2500V. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm. The design includes device code 4044h with 8 ST output bits plus 8 ST status bits. The rated current ranges from 0 to 0.625A for permitted output current, with a residual current of 0.02mA at a "0" signal and a maximum transient pulsed output current of 12A. Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. This Safe I/O module, with a degree of protection IP20, requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is housed in PPE material. The net width is 12.5 mm, and the net depth is 72.5 mm. The processing time ranges from 0.1-12.7 ms for the maximum duration ON/OFF time during self-test, with an output processing time of max. 8 ms for "1" to "0" and "0" to "1" signal changes. The internal voltage drop is 0.08 V.
