Pilz PILZ-326901 is a communications unit designed for PROFINET communication with a manufacturer ID of 092Fh and PNO certification. It features potential isolation between the supply voltage for module supply and periphery supply, module supply, and PROFINET, all with functional insulation and rated surge voltages of 2500V, except for PROFINET which has a rated surge voltage of 1500V. This unit is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C. The device has a net height of 110.1 mm, a width of 64.1 mm, and a depth of 94.7 mm, with a design categorized under device code C002h as a standard/safety unit. It supports a maximum permitted current for peripheral supply of 8A and utilizes an RJ45 connector plug-in/detachable spring-loaded terminal connections for connectivity. Classified under the sub-range name "Communication module," it offers an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal; for both module and peripheral supply). The housing is made of PPE material. It supports the PROFINET IO and PROFIsafe communication protocols with a memory capacity of 1.44Byte for input and output devices. The unit accommodates a wire cross-section of 0.15...1.5mm2 / 26AWG...14AWG conductors. It is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The rated power specifications include 28.8W for the output of the external power supply at the supply voltage, 5W at no load, 22W for maximum output power, and 192W for the output of the external power supply with 0.5W at no load. The response time is 20ms / 0.02 s, and it supports a transmission rate of 100MBit/s with automatic selection.
