ABB 1SAM350005R1006 is a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) designed for thermal-magnetic motor protection. It features manual motor starter protection with screw-clamp connections. The rated current is adjustable between 1A and 1.6A, with specific ratings for UL/CSA FLA Full Load Amps at 200Vac, 208Vac, 220-240Vac, 440-480Vac, and 550-600Vac, and for UL/CSA LRA Locked Rotor Amperes at the same voltages. It includes normally open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 208Vac. The device offers short circuit protection, phase failure/loss protection, and thermal overload protection with a Class 10 response. It has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 690V and a control voltage (AC) protection degree of IP20. The MPCB operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C for operation and offers a degree of protection for front-mounted auxiliary contact blocks (1NO+1NC). It has a net width of 90mm, a power consumption of 6kV, and comes in a color-coded design for easy identification. The connection capacity is 0.55kW / 550W at 400/415Vac, suitable for 3-poles (3P) configurations. It is designed for mounting on DIN rails or mounting plates and has a mechanical endurance of 100,000 operations. The product is replaced by an ON/OFF/TRIP rotary knob for simplified control.
